Since this was a rush job, I banked on the fact that I had drawn the infamous Hasser fence so many times that I'd be able to recycle the background of some previous panel. But I had a fairly firm idea of how I wanted San and Brisa to be posed, so I went ahead and drew them without backgrounds before choosing which old panel to steal bits from. Then, when I tried to paste everything together I discovered that out of, oh, surely over a half a billion panels, only these "retro" pieces of fence worked.

All this took significantly longer than drawing new backgrounds would have.
